DESCRIPTION:Welcome to a hands-on workshop for the fascinating medium known as cyanotype printing. This photographic printing process was developed by Sir John Herschel\, an English chemist and mathematician\, in the mid-1800s. This process is the result of the chemical reaction between ultraviolet light and iron salts (potassium ferricyanide and ammonium ferric citrate). The final product is also known as a blue print or sun print.
