DESCRIPTION:Date: Thursday Sept. 25\nTime: 5.30-7.30pm\nDescription:\nWhile often mistaken for weaving\, coiling is a distinct basketry technique. Instead of\ninterlacing two sets of materials\, you’ll be wrapping one material around a core and\nthen stitching it in place. We’ll provide you with cotton cording for your core and a\nvariety of colorful yarns to wrap it with.\nObjectives:\nBy the end of this workshop\, you’ll have everything you need to create your own\nbeautiful baskets. You will leave with a semi-finished small basket and the skills to\ncomplete it at home in just 1-2 hours.
