Join us on Sunday, November 16th, at Mulberry Creek Farm for a Day-Long Art Retreat brought to you by NoCo ARTS!
Immerse yourself in nature while exploring plein air painting, experimenting with mixed media, AND discovering the beauty of creating with nature.
Whether you’re looking to grow your skills, spark new inspiration, or simply enjoy a day surrounded by creativity, this retreat is designed to refresh your art—and your spirit.
MEET YOUR INSTRUCTORS:
- Manny Maldonado | An award-winning artist with a passion for painting in ‘plein air’ Manny Maldonado will start each workshop with a simple 4 -step process to gently guide participants to paint outside. Each participant will be provided with a canvas board, an easel, paints and brushes*. Already have a plein air setup? Feel free to bring what you have! This workshop is geared for absolute beginners to experienced painters. *Easel, additional paints and brushes are supplied for use during workshop and not to take home.
- Traci Blasko | Mixed-media artist Traci Blasko will start her workshop by having participants do creative exercises that will help awaken the right side of the brain before diving into a variety of mediums and creative techniques. Each participant will receive a gallery wrapped canvas to create a beautiful winter-themed work of art.
- Kat Evans | In this workshop, photographer and mixed-media artist Kat Evans will start by asking participants to join her on a walk around Mulberry Creek Farm to gather surrounding flora. Using different printmaking techniques, each participant will take home framable art prints created with nature!
