Where Creativity Finds a Home in Newton, NC

More Than a Gallery

NoCo ARTS is a welcoming creative space in downtown Newton where artists, collectors, students, and neighbors come together through original art, workshops, classes, studios, events, and community connection.

It is a place to discover something meaningful, try something new, and feel inspired the moment you walk in.

Built From a Need for Connection

NoCo ARTS began with a simple belief: artists needed more than a place to display their work. They needed a positive space to gather, create, teach, learn, and support one another.

What started as an informal artist meetup grew into a welcoming home for creativity in downtown Newton. Today, that same spirit lives on through gallery experiences, workshops, studios, events, and collaborations that bring artists and the community together.

A Place Where Creativity Brings People Together

NoCo ARTS was built on the belief that art is more than something you make or collect. It is something that connects people. Every workshop, exhibit, studio moment, and community event is part of a bigger purpose: creating a space where people feel welcomed, inspired, and encouraged to keep coming back.

The Heart of NoCo ARTS

At the heart of NoCo ARTS is a simple mission: to support artists, encourage creativity, and bring people together through meaningful experiences with art.

We believe artists need more than walls to display their work. They need space to create, teach, collaborate, grow, and feel part of something supportive. We also believe the community needs places where creativity feels welcoming, personal, and within reach.

That is why NoCo ARTS brings together gallery experiences, workshops, artist studios, events, memberships, and creative collaborations under one roof in downtown Newton. Every part of the space is designed to help people feel inspired, connected, and encouraged to explore creativity in their own way.

Whether someone walks in as an artist, collector, student, neighbor, or first time visitor, the goal is the same: create a space where people feel welcome, creativity feels alive, and community grows through shared artistic experiences.
