This 3-hour workshop, taught by NC based photographer and cyanotype artist Kat Evans, is an introduction to the world of cyanotype printing, or more commonly known as sun printing.  

This workshop will cover the history of the medium, choosing and preparing substrates (including a variety of papers and fabric), designing and exposing prints to create a beautiful image of blue and white.  

We'll discuss additional ways to create cyanotypes using photo transparencies, toning, and the wet cyanotype techniques.  

This workshop is great for anyone who wants to experiment with a new, yet old, way of creating with light!  No experience necessary.

All materials are included in price of workshop.  Students are encouraged to bring additional subject matter, if desired.
