Intro to Acrylic Still Life Painting

Learn the Basics of Acrylic Painting in this all-day workshop taught by instructor and local artist, Clay James.

Participants will create a ‘still life’ painting while learning the following:

• Canvas preparation
• ‘Still life’ set-up
• Lighting the ‘still life’ set-up
• Drawing in paint
• Understanding proportion
• Color theory
• Setting up your palette
• Layering the paint
• and more!

Date:  Saturday, August 1st
Time:  10am – 4pm (with an hour break for lunch*)

Cost:  $85 | ALL materials will be provided.
