A great introduction to bookbinding, the Japanese 4-hole stab-binding technique, or yotsume toji, allows novice bookmakers to create beautiful books using minimal tools.
The workshop will be led by artist Kat Evans who will share information and history about this bookbinding technique as well as guide each participant in the creation of a soft-cover and hard-cover book.
All supplies will be provided. Participants are also encouraged to bring in additional papers or embellishments they may want to incorporate into the design of their book.
