Turn a favorite sweater, scarf, hat, shirt, tote, or other wearable item into something personal and creative in this beginner friendly needle felting workshop at NoCo ARTS.

Led by instructor Dede Starnes of Twinknit Creations, this class introduces students to the basics of needle felting on wearable items. You will learn how to work with wool, use needle felting tools, build simple designs, and apply texture and color directly onto fabric.

Participants should bring a reusable sweater, clothing item, or accessory they would like to upcycle. Knitted garments, felted garments, scarves, hats, and jersey fabrics are best for beginners. The needle must be able to pass through the material easily. All other needed supplies are included.
